Board Highlights

Richard McChesney is the co-chair of the Local Bar Affiliates Committee which will provide a network for all affiliates across the State through its newly launched website – flayldaffiliates.com. The 16th Circuit has one affiliate, the Monroe County Bar Association, which will greatly benefit from this new website. It will connect the MCBA to other large affiliates throughout the State allowing the MCBA to share ideas on pro bono activities and CLE’s. Additionally, the website will provide a platform that will give the MCBA the tools and look of a large affiliate.

Section Highlights

On a local level, the MCBA works hard to provide networking events and free CLE’s to its members. This is accomplished through luncheons, happy hours, and special events such as 5k’s.

Member Spotlight

Kelly Dugan is the President of the Monroe County Bar Association. She serves as an attorney in the office of the State Attorney for the 16th Circuit. Kelly attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to practice in 2013.
