Member Spotlight – Kristen A. Corpion

Kristen A. Corpion, young female professional, long dark hair, wearing all black business suit

Kristen A. Corpion is a modern young lawyer who wears many hats. She owns her own small (virtual) firm, Corpion Legal Group, P.A., where she advises mid-sized business owners as outside general counsel. She is a Faculty member in the Honors College at Florida International University, teaching undergraduate pre-law and business topics and serving as Lead Coach of the Panther Mock Trial team, which competes annually in the American Mock Trial Association collegiate competitions. And, if that weren’t enough, she recently launched a startup venture called Sidebar, a community for modern lawyers in South Florida.

Kristen graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2013 and University of South Florida in 2010. Upon graduating she began her career at International law firm Greenberg Traurig in the litigation department. Striking out on her own allowed her the flexibility to pursue varied interests like teaching and entrepreneurship.

Kristen is also active in the legal community serving as a member of the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee, the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. and non-profit Arts4Learing, Inc. When she’s not lawyering or supporting her local community, she’s spending time with her husband and their four-legged child, Khaleesi, her family and friends.
