The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s first webinar of its Lunchtime Technology Webinar Series, “Social Media Marketing 101: How to Use Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to Promote Your Practice and Connect with The Florida Bar.” Ethan Wall of Social Media Law & Order will explain (1) how to use Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; (2) how these popular social media tools can be used in your practice, and (3) how to use these platforms to stay connected with The Florida Bar. The webinar is free and open to all Florida law students and members of The Florida Bar.

The Road Less Traveled….Practicing in the Legislative Process

This webinar is designed to assist anyone who wants to learn about the legislative process, how the process effects the way we do business, and keys to success. The course will provide a 2014 Legislative update which will include presentations from Florida Bar lobbyists who explain the ins and outs of how the Bar creates and implements their legislative agenda as well as illustrate how Tallahassee impacts the practice of law. In addition, participants will hear from some of the state’s leading lobbyists as they discuss the art of lobbying and how to successfully bridge the gap between government consulting and the practice of law. The webinar will also include leaders of the Florida Legislature who will give their unique perspectives of the legislative process.
