When I can’t fall asleep I… meditate.  Fifteen to twenty minutes of breathing mediation, followed by some basic yoga poses results in a great night’s sleep.

My preferred method of exercise is… intense CrossFit style workouts. The WOD must me challenging physically and mentally.

The best advice I’ve received about balancing work and life is… making sure you take time for yourself to do things you enjoy. I love exercise and kayak fishing. I make sure I get to the gym at least 5 times a week and take a Kayak trip once every two weeks.

The one thing I would tell a stressed out and overwhelmed young lawyer is… everything is going to be “ok”. You feel like the whole world rests on your shoulders. In reality, we are all just doing our part for our clients as best we can. Give every day 100% and then go home feeling proud that you put in a good day’s work.

Every day I make sure I… get enough sleep. Sleep is often sacrificed in exchange for longer hours at the office. If you do not let your mind recharge you will not be at your best when you need to be sharp.

On a typical Saturday night you will find me… in bed by 10:00 pm so I can be up at 5:00 am on the Loxahatchee River in my Kayak watching the sun rise and chasing snook.

My guilty pleasure is… dark chocolate covered almonds. I can eat a ton of them in one sitting.

If I could go back to when I was a young lawyer and give myself advice I would say… take a deep breath, enjoy the “right now”, every chapter in your life is exciting, slow down and enjoy the present before it becomes the past.

My favorite music is… by Pearl Jam. No body rocks like Eddie Vedder!!

If I could travel anywhere in the world right now it would be… to the Galapagos Islands. I love the ocean and I have always fascinated over the wildlife in the Galapagos.
