Dr. Luisa Bazan, Henry Ford Sleep Disorders and Research Center

Dr. Luisa Bazan went to medical school at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She trained in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She is the Program Director of the sleep medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and the Division Head of the Henry Ford Sleep Disorders and Research Center. Her areas of expertise include sleep disorder breathing with an emphasis on Obstructive and Central Sleep Apnea, Hypoventilation Syndromes, Neuromuscular Respiratory Weakness, Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation and Home Invasive Ventilation, sleep and safety, sleep apnea and preoperative care and sleep apnea and pregnancy.

Description
This webinar is designed to inform young lawyers about how to implement good sleep health habits. Topics will include how much sleep do you need, how to get appropriate sleep, short and long term consequences of not getting adequate sleep, and the relationship between sleep and overall health/wellness.
