About Us

The Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida, Inc. (BWLACF) was established in 2025 to provide a nurturing, empowering space for Black women in law to thrive. We are committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by Black women attorneys and law students through mentorship, sponsorship, professional development, and advocacy.
We serve legal professionals across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard, Volusia and Polk counties.
Achievements and Awards
BWLACF serves as the only bar association in Central Florida dedicated specifically to the advancement and support of Black women attorneys and legal professionals. Our association is the fourth of its kind in the state, creating a unique space for professional development, mentorship, and community engagement. Through this work, we have built a platform that empowers Black women lawyers to thrive in their careers while fostering a strong network of collaboration, leadership, and advocacy within the legal community.
