The Brevard County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division is committed to building the next generation of leaders in Brevard County’s legal community. YLD serves as a bridge between young lawyers across practice areas, the judiciary, the broader bar, and the community we serve.
Our Board of Directors consists of a President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and four Members-at-Large, each serving a one-year term. Together, the Board works to create meaningful opportunities for connection, service, professional development, and leadership.
Throughout the year, YLD hosts networking events, judicial roundtables, continuing legal education programs, community service projects, and social events designed to strengthen relationships within the profession and beyond. Our programming brings together attorneys, judges, law firms, nonprofit partners, civic leaders, and local organizations with the shared goal of building a stronger and more connected Brevard County.
YLD is also committed to expanding its philanthropic work and professional wellness initiatives. From supporting organizations that serve at-risk youth and vulnerable families to creating spaces for young attorneys to build genuine relationships, our focus is on developing lawyers who are not only capable professionals, but engaged members of the community.
Interested members, new attorneys, or current members who need to renew their membership may contact Rebecca Alpizar, Executive Director of the Brevard County Bar Association, at bcba@brevardbar.org.
