The Monroe County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section provides free CLE’s, networking opportunities, and events with the judiciary for young lawyers and attorneys in Monroe County. The Purpose of the MCBA YLS is to provide an organization for qualified young lawyers; to stimulate the interest of young lawyers in the objectives of the MCBA; to promote and maintain the dignity and honor of the legal profession, promote professional, social understanding and cooperating among admitted young lawyers and provide a forum for young lawyers to socialize with one another; to contribute to the education and professional advancement of young lawyers; to carry out projects for the betterment of relations between the Florida Bar, the bench, community, and academia and ti promote improvements in the administration of justice and courts within Monroe County; and to promote a better understanding between the general public and the legal profession, and any other related or corresponding charitable purposes, including the distribution of its funds for such purposes.
