All practicing lawyers 36 or younger and all those who have practiced law in the State of Florida for 5 years or less who are members of SJCBA are automatically members of the Young Lawyers Section. The Young Lawyers Section of the SJCBA seeks to promote the goals of the YLD, efforts of local attorneys, and to serve as a resource to our local communities. We offer private social and educational events to our members, assists our area legal aid, raises funds for community non-profit organizations, and we are committed to strong public outreach.

The SCJBA is made up of over 100+ members and has a board of seven members with a variety of legal backgrounds.
