This webinar focuses on the sometimes tricky issue of attorney’s fees being paid by a debtor in bankruptcy. Participants will learn about both the traditional means to seek payment from the bankruptcy estate, as well as emerging theories for applying for fees. Topics to be covered include the Bankruptcy Code’s requirements for “disinterestedness” and demonstrating counsel has made a “substantial contribution,” as well as newly instituted disclosure requirements.
