The purpose of the Morning/Afternoon at the Courthouse grant is to introduce new lawyers to their local courthouse, members of the judiciary, and court staff. Courthouse tours, the opportunity to speak with judges, and a chance to see the behind-the-scenes work are all encouraged.
The purpose of the Professionalism Roundtable grant is to allow members of the judiciary and new lawyers to sit down together and discuss topics and issues in professionalism in the local area.
Affiliates may ONLY apply for EITHER the Morning/Afternoon at the Courthouse OR Professionalism Roundtable grant. All funding decisions are within the sole discretion of The Florida Bar YLD, and projects that are inconsistent with the activities and priorities of The Florida Bar will not be funded.
