About the presenters:

PEGGY R. HOYT, of the Law Offices of Hoyt & Bryan, LLC in Oviedo, is dual board certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates and in Elder Law.  She also serves as a certified FINRA Arbitrator, and a Florida Circuit Court Mediator concentrating in pet dispute resolution. She is the author and co-author of a variety of books on estate planning, including All My Children Wear Fur Coats – How to Leave a Legacy for Your Pet.Ms. Hoyt is a former adjunct professor of animal law at Barry University College of Law, a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel and the Central Florida Estate Planning Council.  She is the founder of the Center for Animal Advocacy, PetFriendly.Love and MyPetWill.com.  Peggy is a three time graduate of Stetson University, including their College of Law.

GREGG RILEY MORTON is the 2017-2018 chair of the Animal Law Section of the Florida Bar and was a previous chair of the Animal Law Committee of The Florida Bar.  Mr. Morton has been involved with a number of animal law cases and has lectured, written, and worked on animal law issues at the state and national level.  He is a hearing officer and deputy general counsel at the Public Employees Relations Commission presiding over labor and employment cases brought before the Commission.  Prior to working for the Commission, Mr. Morton was a staff attorney for Chief Justice Harry Lee Anstead at the Florida Supreme Court and later served as chief counsel for the Division of Finance at the Office of Financial Regulation. In addition to his work with the Animal Law Section, Mr. Morton is a member of the Executive Council of the Labor & Employment Law Section of The Florida Bar and is also a member of the Government, Appellate, and Administrative Law Sections of The Florida Bar.  Mr. Morton received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Ohio University and graduated with honors from the University of Florida, College of Law, with his J.D. in 2000.
