• Previously, the second fall grant offered by the YLD was titled Afternoon at the Courthouse/Professionalism, however we are broadening the scope of this grant: it could include a second community service event, a professionalism event, or any other type of event you can imagine.  The one thing we ask is that your event include a component with the judiciary as both Afternoon at the Courthouse and Professionalism often bridge the gap between the legal community and our judiciary.
• Each Local Bar Affiliate may submit one application for a grant award up to $500.00 towards an event meeting the above parameters. Grants will be announced within 4 weeks after the submission deadline, with checks hopefully disbursed within 4-6 weeks after that. Affiliates must use the hashtags #flayld and #YourYLD in all social media posts related to the event.
